We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer / Designer with Revit® design experience to join our team.
What you'll be doing :
- Assist engineers in the preparation of drawings, calculations, and specifications for electrical designs for commercial and industrial projects.
- Use Revit® to prepare difficult and complex electricallayouts and design drawings using theoretical and practical design knowledge.
- Interpret and ensure conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Understand and implement advanced software to complete assignments.
- Meet layout requirements and develop alternate design layouts of systems as required.
- Ensure compliance with required design safety factors, tolerances, and specifications.
- Review supplier data and supplier / manufacturer drawings.
- Check orthographic (2D) and / or isometric (3D) drawings prepared by others.
- Perform checking procedures as appropriate to the discipline and assigned by immediate supervisor.
- Assist in training junior designers in various procedures and practices.
- Some travel may be required
