We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Telemarketer to join our sales team. The Telemarketer will be responsible for selling internet access services to prospective customers through outbound calls. This role involves reaching out to residential and business customers to promote, educate, and sell high-speed internet solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make Outbound Sales Calls: Initiate calls to potential customers from a provided list to introduce internet services and explain features, benefits, and pricing. Call current customers and upgrade them to newer services
- Educate Customers: Provide product knowledge, answer customer questions, and explain technical specifications, speed options, and service benefits.
- Sales Conversion: Convert leads into sales by understanding customer needs, addressing objections, and promoting appropriate internet access plans.
- Build Rapport: Develop and maintain positive relationships with prospective customers to foster trust and increase the likelihood of closing sales.
- Follow Sales Scripts: Use prepared sales scripts and adapt conversations to best address customer needs and preferences.
- Record Keeping: Accurately log customer information, interactions, and outcomes into CRM software.
- Meet Sales Targets: Work to achieve individual and team sales goals set by management.
- Follow Up: Conduct follow-up calls with interested leads and existing customers to close sales and upsell additional services when applicable.
- Handle Objections: Identify customer concerns and provide solutions to overcome resistance to purchasing.
- Stay Informed: Keep up to date with product offerings, promotions, and industry trends to provide accurate and timely information to customers.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous Sales Experience: Prior experience in telemarketing, inside sales, or outbound calling is preferred, especially in internet services or telecommunications.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to convey technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Persuasive Abilities: Skilled in negotiation and persuasion to effectively close sales.
