About the Position
Core Financial is seeking a dynamic and driven Client Relationship Specialist to join our registered investment advisor (RIA) firm. As the primary client-facing representative, this role is integral in delivering a service that sets Core Financial apart in the wealth management industry, ensuring exceptional support for high-net-worth clients.
While the Client Relationship Specialist’s primary focus is on client service, candidates with financial planning and investment expertise are preferred and will have opportunities to contribute to broader financial strategies. Responsibilities
- Client Services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client requests via phone and email, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Facilitate transactions on behalf of clients and monitor account activities, while ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage client communications, track interactions, and maintain records in our CRM systems.
- Assist in scheduling, preparing for, and attending client meetings and events.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the firm's investment team, regarding portfolio performance, investment strategies, and market updates.
- Own and manage the complete lifecycle of client accounts, from initial onboarding through ongoing maintenance and potential closing, including proactively gathering required documentation and driving regular account reviews.
- Process client applications, documents, and agreements with high accuracy.
- Develop, document, and refine best practices for client service operations.
- Perform various administrative activities as needed.
- Financial Planning and Investment Analyst Support (Preferred)
- Assist in financial planning for high-net-worth individuals, corporate executives, and business owners.
- Support estate planning discussions in partnership with internal and external resources.
- Provide insights and administrative support for pension plans, 401(k)s, life insurance products, and private investment vehicles.
- Collaborate with the investment team on client portfolio strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive research on asset classes, market risks, economic factors, and investment themes.
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be a motivated high-performer who is looking to learn, grow, and make a difference in a fast growing company.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
- 1 years of experience in client services, preferably in a wealth management or financial services environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong relationship management skills to retain high-net-worth & business-owner clients.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, professional integrity, & commitment to compliance with industry regulations & firm policies.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM systems.
- Basic understanding of brokerage regulations and rules that govern client accounts.
Preferred:
- Experience with financial planning, investment research, and/or asset allocation.
- Proficiency in financial software platforms (e.g., Wealthscape, Schwab Institutional, Orion, Eclipse, Morningstar, Bloomberg)
