What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Editor position at Core Government Services Corporation?
CGS is hiring a local Video Editor to join our team in support of Army National Guard training at Fort Barfoot (Blackstone, VA).
We are looking for a talented editor who is an expert in creative videos with Resolve, Final Cut or Adobe Premiere Pro editing software.
Our Video Editor will edit raw videos and build educational and motivational videos.
Essential Functions:
- Support the lead editor in the development of digital audio/visual products.
- Support the Operations Manager in the digital video portion of the take home learning packages.
- Use complex editing software such as Resolve, Final Cut, and Adobe Premier to piece together still images, raw video footage, sound effects, dialog, and animation effects.
Requirements:
- US Citizen with a REAL ID for access onto US Military Installation
- Ability to commute and work on-site during the project
- Have a valid Driver's License and be able to commute daily
- Ability to safely lift production equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work in an outdoor environment using military tents and portable restrooms
Experience: 1 or more years' experience editing and producing videos using Resolve, Final Cut, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Working Conditions: natural conditions indoors
Job Type: Seasonal/Temporary
Work Hours: 8-12 hour shifts, 6-7 days / week, for a total of up to 6 weeks.
