We are seeking a Field Services Inspector / Installation Specialist responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of cable and pipe transit seal installations across marine and offshore environments.
Field Services Inspector / Installation Specialist Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of transit seal installations and provide technical guidance and supervision to installers and clients.
Plan, manage, and execute inspection tasks, including documentation and reporting.
Assist in the development and implementation of work processes and software tools.
Support, train, and mentor new team members and external partners in inspection procedures.
Lead or assist in conducting training sessions for stakeholders.
Contribute to the enhancement of service offerings and the expansion of solutions provided to customers.
Field Services Inspector / Installation Specialist Position Requirements
Certifications or qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
Marine-related qualifications or military training in engineering or maintenance.
At least 4 years of seagoing experience, either in commercial or military settings.
4 years of electrical experience, including transit installation work.
Certification or experience as a vessel examiner, inspector, or surveyor.
A bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
Ability to obtain Basic Offshore Safety Introduction & Emergency Training with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (BOSIET-CA-EBS) within the first year of employment.
Compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Capability to work in confined spaces when necessary.
Solid understanding of marine and offshore regulations, shipbuilding, and ship maintenance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High technical aptitude with a thorough understanding of product applications.
Proven experience in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Ability to interpret structural drawings and compliance documents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
