Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Shipyard Dry Dock Master to estimate feasibility of docking and complete docking plans by reviewing relevant drawings, vessel survey, or customer-furnished docking plans. The successful candidate will analyze tidal, slack water, wind, and weather conditions prior to docking/undocking and berthing evolutions.
Responsibilities
- Estimate feasibility of docking and complete docking plans.
- Analyze tidal, slack water, wind, and weather conditions prior to docking/undocking and berthing evolutions.
- Schedule and attend new construction launch meetings.
- Liaise with new construction teams for support services as needed.
Requirements
- 7 years' experience in floating dry docking.
- NAVSEA or DM consulting certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Marine engineering or equivalent years of experience.
- Proficient in Autocad, GHS, and Microsoft software products.
