CDL Truck Driver Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles in compliance with safety, Department of Transportation (DOT), and company standards.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections using standard Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR).
- Report any unsafe conditions, service issues, or incidents to management immediately.
- Attend all required training, briefings, and meetings.
- Work closely with route managers to enhance efficiency and address route issues.
- Follow daily route assignments and ensure proper documentation is completed.
- Handle customer requests, resolve service issues, and leave customer locations clean and debris-free.
