The Commercial Vice President (VP) will have full authority over two of the company’s largest accounts, overseeing P&L management, customer relationships, and operational efficiency. Acting as the internal customer advocate, the VP will drive profitability, productivity, and strategic growth while ensuring contract adherence and high customer satisfaction.
Commercial Vice President (VP) Responsibilities
- Oversee all activities, communications, and decision-making for assigned accounts.
- Manage P&L, ensuring maximum profitability and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as their internal advocate.
- Lead vessel operations, labor coordination, and infrastructure planning.
- Ensure contract compliance, resolving customer disputes proactively.
- Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and growth opportunities.
- Oversee TOS data management, invoicing, and reporting with real-time analytics.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including truckers, vessel crews, and operators.
