Electrician 1st Class – Marine Industry Responsibilities
- Install and connect electrical cables, large control cabinets, power cabinets, and automation cabinets in compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems in complex electrical systems onboard ships.
- Perform testing, calibration, and commissioning of electrical and automation systems.
- Restore and maintain the functionality of ship systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct system modifications, upgrades, and improvements as required.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with marine industry regulations.
