Electronics Technician Responsibilities
- Trouble shoot and diagnose all levels of electronic systems
- Radar
- VHF and MF/HF
- AIS
- Computer systems
- Camera systems
- GPS
- 12VDC and 24VDC power systems
- Must know how to use multi-meter, amp meter, or megger.
- Terminate all types of electronic equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspecting of communication and navigation equipment.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new equipment and manufactures.
- Manage projects as assigned On-call for a (7) seven-day period.
- Travel occasionally for the company.
- Insure all of the company's safety and operational policies are followed
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be capable of acquiring valid TWIC
- Valid driver license
- Must have clean driving record with no DWI convictions
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Previous experience in electronic service industry
- Professional manner in dealing with other employees, management and customers
- Basic mechanical skills
