Heavy Equipment / Truck Technician Job Summary
We are seeking an Equipment Technician to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of various types of equipment in the shop or in the field. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
Heavy Equipment / Truck Technician Responsibilities
- Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment and determine the root cause of any problems
- Prepare new equipment for final delivery to customers
- Accurately complete documentation and keep all records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections
- Communicate with management and other team members to ensure equipment is functioning properly
