Maintenance Technician Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician at Cotton Logistics is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on various equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency and safety. The technician will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, plumbing systems, generators, and other mechanical equipment at temporary workforce housing sites and remote locations. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems, generators, plumbing systems, and other mechanical equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, providing prompt and effective repairs.
Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance on generators and other critical systems to ensure operational reliability.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
Collaborate with team members and management to prioritize maintenance tasks and complete work orders efficiently.
Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal teams and clients.
Maintenance Technician Position Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
General Plumbing Certification, HVAC Training Certification, EGSA Certification, or equivalent Generator Repair Certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, or generator repair.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
