Master Electrician Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot machinery, process equipment, PLCs, and Variable-frequency drives.
- Install and calibrate machinery and equipment, making necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
- Perform routine and non-scheduled electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Ensure all work is conducted safely and injury-free, actively contributing to safety improvements.
- Follow ISO 9001 procedures for all tasks.
- Participate in plant programs, committees, and required training Maintain cleanliness in the department and other plant maintenance areas.
- Complete and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a satisfactory work record is required.
- One year of mechanical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanically driven systems is essential.
- Relevant shop courses or technical training are desirable.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and verbally communicating in English.
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements are necessary.
- Skilled in the use and maintenance of tools and equipment related to electrical and mechanical trades.
- Basic computer knowledge is required for data entry, email communication, and using plant software.
- Ability to manually lift and handle weights of up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Must be capable of wearing various types of respirators (cartridge, fresh air, or self-contained).
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs, and work from building roofs and pipe racks.
