Master Electrician Job Summary

We are seeking a Master Electrician responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and installation of plant machinery, equipment, and piping systems. The role requires availability for 10-12 hour night shifts, with occasional weekend overtime, call-ins, and temporary shift rotations.

Master Electrician Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot machinery, process equipment, PLCs, and Variable-frequency drives.
• Install and calibrate machinery and equipment, making necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
• Perform routine and non-scheduled electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Ensure all work is conducted safely and injury-free, actively contributing to safety improvements.
• Follow ISO 9001 procedures for all tasks.
• Participate in plant programs, committees, and required training Maintain cleanliness in the department and other plant maintenance areas.
• Complete and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
  
  

Master Electrician Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a satisfactory work record is required.
• One year of mechanical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanically driven systems is essential.
• Relevant shop courses or technical training are desirable.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and verbally communicating in English.
• Basic math skills for calculating measurements are necessary.
• Skilled in the use and maintenance of tools and equipment related to electrical and mechanical trades.
• Basic computer knowledge is required for data entry, email communication, and using plant software.
• Ability to manually lift and handle weights of up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
• Must be capable of wearing various types of respirators (cartridge, fresh air, or self-contained).
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, and work from building roofs and pipe racks.
