We are seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee all of the department’s operations, which is staffed by skilled mechanics, machinists, and helpers.

Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead a team of mechanical technicians and oversee their daily activities to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Coordinate and execute mechanical maintenance and repair activities on various maritime vessels, including propulsion systems, engines, pumps, and auxiliary equipment
- Ensure all mechanical work meets industry standards, specifications, and client requirements.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Train new technicians and provide ongoing guidance and mentorship to improve team performance and skill levels.
- Manage inventory levels of spare parts and equipment. Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of required materials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, preferably in the maritime industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including diesel engines, pumps, hydraulics, and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with ship repair processes is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively and efficiently.
