The Senior Project Manager will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver complex infrastructure, transportation, and building projects.
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, managing expectations, and addressing project challenges.
- Monitor project progress, including contractor performance, engineering deliverables, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring cost control and profitability.
- Ensure that all work complies with industry regulations, permits, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Conduct regular project reviews, site visits, and status meetings to keep stakeholders informed of project developments and address any emerging issues.
- Manage contract negotiations, bid evaluations, and vendor selection processes in coordination with procurement teams.
- Lead project teams in problem-solving and decision-making, ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to timelines, and risk mitigation.
- Experience as a Construction/Project Manager/Superintendent
- 10 years of related experience
- Experience managing construction project teams including superintendents, project managers and engineers, design teams, architects, etc.
- Experience with project level documentation, such as, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, and invoices
- Knowledgeable in project scheduling techniques and software (i.e. MS Project or Primavera P6)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with construction management software platforms (i.e. Procore) is preferred
- 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
