- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue and market penetration goals in North America and key international regions.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities within the maritime, defense, and offshore industries.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, including shipowners, shipyards, defense contractors, and other industry stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, offering insights drawn from years of military leadership and technical expertise.
- Represent company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, promoting our innovative solutions to a global audience.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity, providing input to refine company’s offerings and strategy.
- Oversee all aspects of the US office, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with the company’s global goals.
- Collaborate with international teams, providing leadership and support to maximize sales performance across markets.
- Expand company’s presence in international markets by building partnerships with regional agents and distributors.
- Lead efforts to identify and secure international contracts, particularly within maritime and defense sectors.
- Retired U.S. Navy Officer (or possibly retired USCG): A minimum of 15-20 years of service, ideally with experience in ship operations, engineering, or procurement, and a deep understanding of maritime operations.
- Sales or Business Development Experience: Previous experience in sales or related roles, particularly within the maritime, defense, or technical solutions sectors.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with monitoring systems, electronics, shipboard systems, or advanced sensor technologies is strongly preferred.
- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, drive results, and maintain high operational standards.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with the capability to engage effectively with both technical and executive audiences.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 50%).
