Job Summary:
Working as a Laundry Strategic Account Manager, you are responsible for being a resource, educator, trainer, and problem solver between each client/customer and Crothall’s management team to ensure that all aspects of the linen program are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customer service and maintains relationships at multiple levels within assigned accounts and territory ensuring quality service, product utilization and best practice linen strategies.
- Builds Strong customer relationships to ensure client satisfaction, quality and product utilization meet expectations.
- Identify opportunities within existing customer facilities to increase account penetration.
- Responsible for inventory management, linen par levels, and implementing Crothall’s Linen Cost Management systems and procedures.
- Sets up and coordinates Linen Committee
- Performs and manages internal distribution analysis; LOIS utilization (Linen Opportunity & Impact Study)
- Conducts par level analysis and adjusts as necessary.
- Performs product line evaluations utilizing linen specification expertise.
- Responsible for linen security opportunities and physical inventory coordination
- Implements laundry specific Quality Assurance (QA) program between the laundry provider and customer in coordination with HCAHPS scores at hospitals.
- Coordinates with Infection Control Practitioners from each hospital system to ensure that Crothall’s laundry is following the accounts Hospital's Infection Control Plan and surpasses any applicable State regulations.
- May manage, direct or assist others as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective organization, planning, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel at the local level required, occasional overnight.
- Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council knowledge and training preferred.
- College degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Proven experience with building relations, with consultative approach to maintaining and growing business
