We are seeking an experienced Carroll Class A Shuttle Driver to join our team at Core-Mark, a leading distributor of fresh and broad-line solutions to the convenience retail industry. Salary Information
Estimated salary: $65,000 - $72,000 per year, including base pay and overtime, in a 4-day workweek (Monday-Thursday).
About the Role
As a Carroll Class A Shuttle Driver, you will be driving a tractor-trailer on intrastate and interstate routes, adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting pre-and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Communicating with vendors and coworkers professionally and efficiently
• Functioning as part of a team to achieve departmental and organizational goals
• Performing all required paperwork associated with freight
• Loading and unloading trailers, securing freight, and documenting any issues
• Maintaining accurate records of hours of service and entering them into logs according to federal, state, and company requirements
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience
• A valid CDL-A
• Meet all state licensing and certification requirements (where applicable)
• A clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years
• Passed a post-offer drug test and criminal background check
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to obtain one
