Job Title: Delivery Driver
About the Job
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver food and food-related products to customers
- Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers professionally
- Perform all required safety checks and report any safety issues or repairs
- Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Unload products from the trailer and transport them to designated customer storage areas
- Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Collect money (cash or checks) where required and load customer returns onto the trailer
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 6 months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-A
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
