Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Driver Training Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on training to new drivers on all aspects of the delivery driver job duties.

You will utilize company training guides, manuals, checklists, and processes to ensure compliance with company policies, practices, safety, and DOT regulations.

In addition, you will perform preferred work method observations and provide verbal and written feedback on driver trainees' performance, including suggested development actions.

This role requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) and 2-4 years of transportation delivery driver experience specifically in the foodservice industry with in-depth knowledge of DOT regulations.

You should have working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies and practices.

This is a Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm position based in Gardiner, ME but will require travel to other depots as needed to support training of new drivers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license
• 2-4 years of transportation delivery driver experience in the foodservice industry
• In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations
• Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies and practices
• Computerized fleet operations management systems knowledge
