As a Truck Training Specialist, you will be responsible for training delivery drivers on all aspects of the delivery driver job duties. You will utilize company training guides, manuals, checklists, and processes to ensure compliance with company policies, practices, safety, and DOT regulations.
**Job Description:**
- Perform preferred work method observations and provide verbal and written feedback on driver trainees' performance, including suggested development actions.
- Deliver hands-on training that allows for maximum transfer of knowledge while ensuring customer needs, service times, labor, and transportation costs are met and within guidelines.
- Provide ongoing and timely feedback to assigned driver trainees and supervisory staff.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
- 2-4 years of Transportation delivery driver experience specifically in the foodservice industry with in-depth knowledge of DOT regulations
- Computerized fleet operations management systems knowledge
