Mechanical Engineer

Core Mechanical Services, Inc is seeking a Professional Mechanical Engineer in the Warsaw, IN area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product and industry knowledge. You will work in a team-oriented environment that accelerates operational efficiency. 

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Core Values
• Direct and coordinate the design/revision of major engineering projects
• Perform equipment layouts, size equipment, work with vendors customers and internal engineering team
• Obtain field data, preform construction studies, prepare engineering reports
• Create schematics based on customer specifications
• Create and stamp drawings
• Meet with technicians and estimators to go over designs
• Prepare parts list for Materials Manager, order additional parts needed
• Complete job thoroughly, efficiently and to all specifications
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors
• Follow all job site safety protocols
• Communicate job progress/problems with President
• Assemble thorough schematics and designs in a timely manner
• Create thorough job blueprints for Technicians
• Provide leadership and assist Engineers & CAD/Revit Technicians in gaining knowledge of the trade and ensuring the department is running efficiently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Prior experience with Mechanical and Plumbing systems
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
