Summary/Objective
Responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth within assigned markets and accounts. This role plays a critical part in executing the company’s growth strategy by developing leads, managing the sales pipeline, and working cross-functionally to ensure customer needs are met. The Business Development Manager collaborates closely with internal teams to optimize sales processes, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
Essential Functions

- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities to drive revenue growth across key product lines.
- Maintain and expand relationships with assigned accounts, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business success.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, Solutions Group, Finance, and Customer Operations—to ensure seamless execution of sales and business development strategies.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities to meet or exceed growth targets.
- Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities to inform business development strategies.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and pricing models for prospective and existing clients.
- Support contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast sales, monitor performance metrics, and provide data-driven insights.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and foster new partnerships.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance business development and sales processes.
- Become industry expert of market dynamics, competitive analysis, and Company capability in the assigned market segment(s).
- Participate in relevant industry and market-specific trade shows and other events designed to highlight Company capabilities and attract the interest of targeted customers.
- Use a variety of customer contact and activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems. Record, report, analyze and administer according to established requirements.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. This position may occasionally require extended hours and/or weekend work.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and industry partners.
- Proven track record of managing a sales pipeline and achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and financial reports.
Preferred Education, Qualifications, and Experience
- Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Familiarity with contract negotiations and pricing strategies.
