**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Advanced Practice Provider) to join our team at CORE Occupational Medicine. This is a PRN position offering a rewarding work environment and opportunities to establish close relationships with patients in their workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-placement physical examinations for new hires.
- Provide medical assessments and health services to employees who become ill or injured at work.
- Conduct return-to-work assessments to ensure fitness for duty and a safe workplace environment.
- Assist with coordination of care, physician referrals, and transitional duty programs.
- Maintain professional growth and development through approved seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program.
- Current Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in good standing with the state of Texas.
- Previous experience practicing in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine is desirable.
