Position Overview:
The Sales and Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting the business development team by assisting in bid and proposal submissions, coordinating marketing initiatives, and providing administrative and project support to drive business growth and secure new opportunities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Assist in the bid and proposal process, including gathering necessary information and assisting in ensuring all documentation, certifications, and compliance requirements are met.
- Assist in writing, editing, and formatting bids/proposal responses, ensuring high-quality and accurate submissions.
- Support the sales team in lead generation activities, maintaining databases, tracking leads, and assisting in updating the CRM system.
- Assist in preparing presentations, sales materials, and reports.
- As directed, conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends, and compile data to help inform sales strategies.
- Assist with contract management, including coordinating contract renewals and amendments.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating events such as trade shows, conferences, golf tournaments, and other promotional activities.
- Ensure all proposal and marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent tone and style.
- Write and edit content for proposals, presentations, blogs, and other platforms to engage and inform target audiences.
- Maintain organized files of proposals, contracts, and other relevant documents for future reference.
- Prepare and present weekly or monthly reports on sales pipeline, proposal activities, and marketing metrics.
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to proposals, marketing efforts, and ongoing projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and best practices in sales and marketing to continually enhance the company's strategies and tactics.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or related field
- 3 years relevant experience
