Referrals/ Medical Assistant
Katy, TX
The Referrals/ Medical Assistant will play a key role supporting our medical providers and will facilitate care by coordinating referrals efficiently and with high quality. Seeking proactive candidates with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Extensive education and guidance provided on the job, need to be willing to learn.
Referral coordinator responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients and visitors professionally
- Schedule and manage appointments
- Answer phones and triage patient requests and questions
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information
- Verify patient insurance and collect office visit payments
- Provide exceptional patient service
Medical assistant responsibilities:
- Interview/update patient’s chief complaint, medical history, medication list, and take vitals
- Stocks and cleans patient rooms before clinic, after each patient, and at the end of the day
- Maintaining patient records
- Assisting providers with key tasks/ procedures
- Answering phones and triage patient requests and questions

Wednesday- Thursday 8AM- 6PM
Medical Assistant:
Friday 8AM- 6PM and Saturday 8AM- 1PM

$14 per hour
