FULL-TIME: Project Manager for Residential Remodeling/Construction Company
Worcester County and Metro West Massachusetts Area

The Position: We are an established, growing residential remodeling company in the Worcester County, Massachusetts area with plenty of work and growth opportunities for the right individual. We are looking for the right person to work as full time Project Manager, working directly with our sales and production team to develop projects from the point of sale to ready for production and following through to completion.
This position requires an individual who has a very high level of attention to detail is required, mathematically inclined (Exceptional with Numbers) and has superior organizational skills. The individual we seek is also very responsible and enjoys working with customers and with our team. You must be willing to take direction but be self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to take initiative and think outside of the box. The right person is technology savvy and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and comfortable utilizing a project management system with your personal smartphone and company provided laptop computer. You will need a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination:
- Develop detailed project timelines, and schedules for home remodeling projects.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Ensure all necessary permits, inspections, and approvals are obtained.
- Budget & Cost Management:
- Create accurate cost estimates for each project and manage budgets to ensure the project remains profitable.
- Continuously track and manage project expenses, ensuring projects stay on budget.
- Provide estimates for change orders and approve or modify costs as needed.
- Work-in-Progress (WIP) Reports:
- Prepare and update Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports regularly to track the progress of projects and ensure all milestones and deadlines are met.
- Review and update project forecasts to ensure financial goals are being met and adjust resources or timelines as necessary to avoid delays.
- Estimates vs Actual Reports:
- Regularly compare project estimates to actual costs and timelines, identifying any variances.
- Create and review “Estimates vs Actual” reports to determine reasons for discrepancies and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Use these reports to make data-driven decisions that ensure the company meets gross profit targets for each project.
- Client Communication & Satisfaction:
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the project, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive client experience.
- Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned with the project objectives.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety standards.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure that all remodeling work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Enforce safety procedures on job sites to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the home remodeling or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, including WIP, Estimates vs Actual, and gross profit margin calculations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., JobTread, Buildertrend, CoConstruct).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction materials, processes, and building codes.
- Leadership experience and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
