Safety Advisor
Lebanon, IN
CORE Safety Group is a nationwide safety management and loss control consultant. We are currently seeking a local Safety Advisor for a 3-month assignment in Lebanon, IN area to provide oversite on a construction project. The Safety Advisor will be responsible for identifying issues regarding safety matters at the project site and ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local and owner safety requirements.
Successful candidate should demonstrate the following:
Applicant should have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate in speech and writing with members at all levels throughout an organization; strong writing skills with the ability to interpret safety standards; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with diverse personalities. Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and display a high-level of organizational skills.
Job Requirements:
a. Hold a safety and health certification/designation such as but not limited to CSP, CIH, ASP, ARM, CHST, OHST) with at least 3 years of relevant construction safety and health experience (Option 1); OR
b. Have a Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or related field with at least 3 years of relevant construction safety and health experience (Option 2); OR
c. Have at least 5 years of relevant construction safety and health experience
(Option 3); AND
d. Have a current OSHA 500 certification for construction/OSHA 30-hour Construction Outreach Training Course completed in the past 5 years; AND
e. Provide proof of completion of a Red Cross or approved equivalent for Cardio Pulmonary
