What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cyber Engineering Lead position at Core Specialty?
The Cyber Engineering Lead will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our cybersecurity tools, products and cyber engineering related to security infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and a proven track record in leading an engineering team.
Key Accountabilities / Deliverables :
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Collaborate with IT leadership to align security initiatives with organizational goals.
- Develop key configurations and integration of security systems in a robust cloud / hybrid environment
- Protect of all end user computing assets utilizing defined EDR technologies, including configuration, optimization and tuning of products that protect assets
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of security products. Provide recommendations for improvement based on data-driven insights and analysis.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure team remains current with the latest security trends and technologies.
