Summary Of Position
As a Senior Director of Technology and Innovation, supporting all of Core States Group and as part of our Shared Operations group, you will be a strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology across Core States Group, a growing company with 24 offices nationwide. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Shared Operations, this role ensures effective management and strategic alignment of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, help desk/customer support, enterprise applications, capital budgets (including hardware and infrastructure investments), and digital innovation. The successful candidate will foster a culture of exceptional customer service, innovation, and continuous improvement, ensuring technology supports and drives business growth.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with business objectives, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.
- Oversee all technology operations, including infrastructure management, cybersecurity strategies, help desk and customer support services, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient day-to-day operations.
- Manage technology-related capital and operating budgets, including hardware purchases, infrastructure improvements, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective investment and maximum ROI.
- Establish and enforce IT governance, risk management, cybersecurity compliance, and data protection strategies.
- Drive digital transformation and innovation initiatives, including leveraging AI, analytics, and custom solutions to enhance project delivery timelines and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business units to assess and deliver tailored technology solutions, facilitating smooth integration and adoption.
- Lead the Design Efficiency & Analytics (Design Technology) and Digital Transformation teams, monitoring industry trends and implementing emerging technologies to enhance design and construction processes.
- Provide mentorship, training, and development to build a high-performing, responsive technology organization.
- Foster an organizational culture of customer-focused IT services, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Technology Management, or similar) is preferred but not required; equivalent professional experience is equally valued.
- Relevant IT certifications (CISSP, PMP, ITIL, or similar) are beneficial and highly regarded.
- Minimum of 12–15 years of progressive technology leadership experience, including strategic planning, operational oversight, capital budgeting, and vendor management.
- Demonstrated experience managing diverse IT operations, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, help desk/customer support, and enterprise application management.
- Proven ability to drive digital innovation and process improvement initiatives, preferably in an Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) or related professional services industry.
- Strong leadership experience developing high-performing teams and mentoring talent.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of enterprise technology environments, specificallyWindows-based infrastructures, cloud-based networks, and enterprise-wide security.
- Familiarity with Autodesk products, drafting technologies, and related software solutions typically used within design and construction industries.
- Ability to oversee the implementation of custom software solutions to address specific business needs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- General technical acumen sufficient to effectively manage and guide technical teams, vendors, and partners, without needing hands-on expertise in every technology.
