Summary Of Position
As a Sr. Electrical Project Designer supporting our Construction Services/Energy business unit, you will be responsible for designing and drafting electrical engineering projects under the guidance of Electrical Engineers/Project Managers. This includes power distribution, lighting, and grounding. As part of a multi-disciplined firm, you will be coordinating with Site/Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Structural Engineers, Architects and Construction Project Managers. You will be responsible for production of electrical engineering construction documents while adhering to client requirements, code requirements and unique site adjustments.

Responsibilities
- Design full site plans, single lines, and detail drawings
- Resolve complex design issues with limited direction
- Code analysis
- Conduct site feasibility research and site visit investigations. Generate reports and recommendations based on findings.
- Coordinate with sub-consultants.
- Coordinate and assist with design addendums, RFIs, and change orders.
- Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project.
- Assist managers with the project approval process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- E.I.T. preferred
- 5 years of experience with electrical design for power distribution and distributed generation, preferably in the energy field with projects including electric vehicles, battery storage, generators or microgrids
- AutoCAD and MS Office required; ETAP and AGI 32 a plus,
This role will report to the Director of Electrical Engineering and work closely with a team of Designers and Engineers.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
