What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Warehouse Supervisor position at Core Tech Industrial Corp?
Core Tech Industrial Corp. is looking for a Materials Warehouse Supervisor. This qualified candidate must be self-motivated, able to manage a small team fulfilling department duties, and be self-disciplined in enforcing safety, process, accuracy and tidiness throughout the inventory lifecycle of incoming material through pick to production handoff.
Duties including but not limited to:
· Supervising and assisting when necessary; a team of 6-8 employees unloading trucks, receiving, stocking, picking and any other assigned tasks while ensuring they are completed efficiently and accurately.
· Ensuring safety, accuracy and tidiness principles are always followed by all team members. Safety being top priority.
· Working with other departments including Planning and Production to prioritize receiving, stocking, and picking schedules to support customer orders timely.
· Collaborating with the management team on dept. related process improvements and implementation strategies as needed.
· Reviewing and performing inventory transactions as necessary for MTS (Material Tracking Sheets) regarding count discrepancies or inventory moves. This position will present and report on inventory related data periodically to management.
· Coordinating the stocking of made to order assemblies from production and re-stocking of unused parts from production back to inventory.
· Optimizing storage space continuously to accommodate incoming materials daily/weekly.
· Developing and maintaining a daily “yard walk” program around facility to ensure storage, recycling and loading/unloading areas are safe, clean, and tidy at all times.
· Managing company box truck (non CDL) deliveries to local suppliers/customers.
· Ensuring company Shop Stock is being replenished timely and partnering with planning and purchasing if materials or suppliers need to be added, removed etc.
· Maintaining training and safety logs for all team members and equipment owned by Materials Teams (company box truck, forklift, ladders, racking, pallet jacks, carts, etc.)
Requirements:
· Degree in management, inventory control or business preferred or equivalent work experience managing a team.
· Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
· Ability to solve problems and partner with supporting departments to keep project progressing.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of industry safety, warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
· Experience with warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Proficiency in relevant software and systems (e.g., Microsoft office, ERP management systems training provided)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
