What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at Core Technology Solutions?
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst for a long term contract opportunity with our client in Columbia, SC.
This is an onsite position in Columbia SC. Only local candidates or those within a comfortable commuting distance to Columbia SC should apply.
W2 long term contract, must have work status to be employed directly (Green Card, US Citizen, EAD). No C2C or third party candidates, please.
What you’ll do in this role : :
Assist with implement small to large projects in Finance Division of Reimbursements business area.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to :
Participate in succession planning and knowledge transfer with agency reimbursement staff to ensure all processes and procedures are documented and staff are trained.
Primarily responsible for the conversion of Managed Care claims data into a settlement compatible format utilizing SAS, Excel and any other available software. This includes quarterly as well as annual settlements.
Knowledge of MMIS including fund codes and provider contract rates.
Provide technical assistance related to cost reports for Home Health providers, division and agency staff.
Interacting with internal and external organizations (i.e. Providers, State and Federal government agencies, State providers and beneficiaries and other stakeholders).
Other project-related duties.
Required Skills / Education :
Bachelor’s degree or 10 years’ experience in Medicaid or healthcare field.
5 years’ experience in SAS.
6 years’ experience in SAP.
6 years’ experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or related duties
6 years claims payment and financial systems.
6 years Medicaid or healthcare experience.
6 years Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience.
Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and policies.
Superb written and oral communications skills.
