Job Summary
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Plumbing / HVAC Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a local professional with a stable work history and possess a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (BSME). The candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC design, estimating, and project management. Proficiency in project management, and a proven track record of successful large projects are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
- Estimate / take off and price from plans for proposals
- On site look at jobs and price them in the Plumbing and AC field
- Technical help to the ac / heating divisions technicians with an understanding of controls and engineering to bring the best product to the customer and solve the problem
- Assist in setting up the contract jobs with materials and labor
- Communicate with potential clients to create a relationship and sell jobs
- Look for opportunities to bring value to our customers with new products and technology
- Understanding the New York laws and regulations to assist our customers in compliance
- Manage project budgets and track expenses
- Prepare and submit project reports
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide regular updates
