CORE Construction is seeking a Grant Manager to join our Business Development & Marketing team and play a key role in securing funding opportunities for our public sector clients. This position will research, identify, and secure grant funding that aligns with our clients’ needs. The Grant Manager will be responsible for developing compelling proposals, training junior-level writers, maintaining compliance with funding requirements, acting as a strategic partner to government agencies to maximize external funding opportunities.

- Grant Research & Strategy
- Identify and analyze potential grant opportunities that align with CORE’s public sector projects, working alongside Business Development leaders.
- Develop long-term grant strategies to support school districts as well as municipal, county, and state agency initiatives.
- Stay informed on funding trends, policy changes, and best practices to enhance CORE’s grant support offerings.
- Grant Writing & Submission
- Manage and oversee all grant proposals, including training and ensuring junior-level writers design and produce professional-quality proposals.
- Develop, write, and submit competitive grant proposals, ensuring alignment with funding guidelines and agency priorities.
- Collaborate with CORE’s Business Development & Marketing, Preconstruction, and Operations teams to tailor proposals to each client’s needs.
- Prepare letters of support, project narratives, and required documentation for successful applications.
- Grant Compliance & Management
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local grant regulations, maintaining accurate records of submissions, awards, and reporting deadlines.
- Support clients in grant reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in fund utilization.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as grant success rates and financial impact.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary grant liaison for CORE’s clients, supporting them in funding pursuits.
- Participate in client presentations to speak on behalf of CORE’s grant initiative.
- Work closely with agency leadership, department heads, and external partners to ensure alignment with their strategic goals.
- Provide training and technical assistance to clients on grant application processes and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Finance, Communications, Political Science or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of grant writing and administration experience, including identifying funding sources and preparing successful applications.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local government grant programs and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive narratives.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in grant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience collaborating with government agencies and understanding public sector procurement is a plus.
