What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager- Climate Resilience and Disaster Preparedness position at CORE?
This is a grant-funded position. The Program Manager is responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and evaluation of CORE’s climate resilience and disaster preparedness programming. The Program Manager will work with CORE senior management to refine the strategy and implement grant objectives. The Program Manager will develop and monitor program budget, supervise staff and CERC (CA Emergency Response Corp / Americorp) Fellows and deliver program reports to CORE senior management, funders, and other entities.
Resposnibilities :
- Manage multiple grant programs and collaborate with various organizational departments and community based partners
- Manage program fiscal budgets in conjunction with leadership and ensure financial compliance
- Maintain compliance with grant guidelines, local, state, and federal laws, and organizational policies
- Identify growth opportunities and create strategic plans to achieve program objectives
- Foster collaborative relationships with internal staff and external agencies
- Collect, organize, and evaluate data for program performance assessment
- Implement and evaluate data collection, management, and quality control procedures
- Analyze data trends and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
- Assist in identification, research, and development of grant opportunities to expand departmental portfolio
- Represent the organization at selected community events
- Be prepared to deploy as needed to assist with emergency operations across California, contributing to on-the-ground efforts in disaster response and recovery.

In accordance with CA law, the expected pay range for this CA position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
