Leadership & Team Development
- On-Site Leadership: Lead the on-site project team by defining roles, fostering accountability, and maintaining a collaborative work environment.
- Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Manager to align on project goals, schedules, and resource needs.
- Mentorship: Support the development of team members by providing guidance and sharing industry best practices.
- Site Management: Oversee all daily on-site activities, ensuring milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
- Scheduling: Collaborate with the Project Manager to create and maintain the project schedule. Ensure trades and activities are properly sequenced to avoid delays.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve operational challenges promptly to keep the project on track.
- Inspection & Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work adheres to project specifications, design documents, and building codes.
- Punch Lists: Oversee the creation and completion of punch lists to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Verification: Ensure accuracy and quality in installations, addressing any discrepancies immediately.
- Protocol Enforcement: Implement and enforce OSHA standards and CORE safety protocols on-site.
- Daily Briefings: Lead safety meetings and site inspections to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Incident Management: Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary on-site point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and clients.
- Updates & Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on progress, risks, and potential changes.
- Collaboration: Maintain clear communication across teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Logistics: Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment allocation, and waste removal.
- Efficiency: Track labor and resource utilization to ensure optimal productivity.
- Inventory: Verify the availability and condition of materials, tools, and equipment needed for the project.
- Daily Logs: Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress, and incidents.
- Approvals: Review and approve subcontractor timesheets and reports.
- Documentation: Assist in preparing and submitting required RFIs, submittals, and inspection reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
- Experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or institutional projects is preferred.
- OSHA 30-hour certification is required.
- Additional certifications in safety, first aid, or quality management are desirable.
- Ability to stand and walk on uneven surfaces for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as necessary.
