Job Description

Core4ce is seeking a Geospatial Software Engineer to develop AI / ML-driven automation tools, enhance geospatial data processing capabilities, and support research in digital forensics, cybersecurity, and pattern recognition. This role involves building and coding applications, enhancing existing systems, and integrating cutting-edge spatial and temporal data mining techniques to support mission-critical operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, AI / ML, and geospatial technologies, as well as experience in GEOINT-related analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Build and code applications and modules using Python, R, C , Java, Matlab, Visual Basic, ABAP, and XTML.
  • Develop and optimize AI / ML algorithms for automated geospatial data processing, pattern recognition, and spatial / temporal analysis.
  • Enhance and maintain existing software systems, providing patches and system upgrades as needed.
  • Design and develop graphical user interfaces (GUI) to improve usability and meet specific user needs.
  • Apply Agile software development methodologies to enhance software engineering processes.
  • Prepare operating instructions and develop system documentation, ensuring clarity and usability for end users.
  • Analyze prototype system capabilities to refine development strategies, resolve technical challenges, and ensure mission effectiveness.
  • Support automation of geospatial and temporal data processing, including video, image, and digital forensic applications.
  • Integrate AI / ML models into operational workflows, optimizing automation and intelligence extraction for national security applications.
  • Perform maintenance and upgrades to ensure system stability, security, and optimal performance.

Requirements

  • TS / SCI Clearance Required (No exceptions).
  • 13 years of experience with a MA / MS degree, OR 15 years of experience with a BA / BS degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash. Experience with programming and scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, SQL) for automating data processing or building custom geospatial tools.
  • Expertise in geospatial technologies and analysis, with strong experience in ArcGIS Pro.
  • Familiarity with AI / ML algorithms for automated geospatial data processing, pattern recognition, and intelligence applications.
  • Experience in documenting system development activities, writing operating instructions, and compiling research findings
  • Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Ability to design, maintain, and enhance existing software solutions.
  • Experience integrating and applying automation techniques to improve system performance and data processing.
