Responsibilities
- Review and analyze vulnerability scan results to identify potential security issues.
- Work with customers and team members to prioritize and plan remediation steps.
- Learn about industry best practices for addressing security vulnerabilities.
- Assist in documenting vulnerabilities, tracking remediation progress, and generating reports.
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
- Support security and IT teams by providing insights and recommendations for improving security.
- Security certification (CompTIA Security or equivalent)
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and security risks.
- Willingness to learn vulnerability management concepts and tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7).
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and basic networking.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001 is a plus.
- Cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security automation.
