Position Overview
The Special Operations Support Policy Staff Officer II will provide critical support to the HUMINT & Sensitive Activities Directorate within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)). This role involves supporting the oversight, management, and development of policies related to sensitive activities and special operations.
Responsibilities
- Policy Development and Coordination :
Support the oversight, management, and coordination of complex sensitive programs and activities.
Gather, synthesize, and prepare background information and read-ahead materials for issues and engagements regarding intelligence and intelligence-related policy, program, and activity support to special operations, including counterterrorism and irregular warfare.
Support the development, review, and revision of strategy and policy direction for the coordination, assessment, reporting, and conduct of sensitive activities.
