Summary Of Role

In support of that, we are making significant investments to re-imagine how we should deliver great end-to-end experiences that make it easy for advisors and clients to get things done and realize their financial goals. We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to support the transformation of our Sales & New Business journeys.

Responsibilities

  • You will develop a deep understanding of our financial advisors and their client's needs and behaviors using data analysis, direct communication, and support resources.
  • You will partner with senior leadership to lead multi-year, multi-discipline transformational programs for advisory and broker-dealer products and solutions.
  • You will work cross-functionally within Corebridge Financial to build cohesive product roadmaps to realize ambitious goals and strategic priorities around these critical client and advisor experiences.
  • You must demonstrate a strong understanding of technology to collaborate with our technology partners to build integrated, scalable, and extensible tools to deliver on our promise.
  • You will collaborate with designers, software engineers, and others across the business to invent features and experiences that will differentiate Corebridge Financial and make it easier for our clients to prepare for retirement.
  • You will be responsible for the full end-to-end rollout to realize the full value of the solutions, including coordinating marketing and training plans and measuring adoption and benefits.
  • You will leverage market insights and data to ensure Corebridge Financial is an industry leader in supporting frictionless sales & new business experiences across digital and advisor-assisted engagements.
  • You will work cross-functionally within Corebridge Financial to build a cohesive roadmap to realize ambitious goals and strategic priorities around this critical client experience.
  • You will become the business owner and review the business against the defined performance measures monthly and quarterly to assure alignment while identifying any needed changes affecting the channel, business, or product strategy.
  • You must demonstrate a strong understanding of technology to collaborate with our technology partners to build integrated, scalable, and extensible tools to deliver on our promise.
  • Deliver solutions in support of the Sales & New Business transformation, leveraging a product management discipline and strong customer focus
  • Translate project sponsor's expectations into clearly defined product roadmaps. Responsible for end-to-end delivery of needs, goals, and expectations of the functional stakeholders
  • Provide guidance to the various work streams, and structure and develop project plans with direction from appropriate functional and business area stakeholders
  • Bridge the gap between business outcomes needed and technical delivery by having good business sense and willing to learn about the areas supported
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams on managing and reporting full project financials
  • Define the approach to measure and track benefits identified through the lifecycle of an initiative (KPIs)
  • Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments
  • Practice change management best practices, ensuring team cohesiveness through the engagement of teams, stakeholders, and project owners
  • Ensure effective communication flow across and within teams. Deliver and coach for messaging that is appropriate for a range of audiences such as teams, leadership and end customers
  • Articulate a compelling and inspiring vision that puts clients and advisors at the heart of how we serve.
  • Courageously challenge the status quo to establish a new standard while patiently pushing the organization on the path to achieving it.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong/expert background in analytics with demonstrated ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into meaningful conclusions and actionable strategic plans that support business objectives
  • Proven experience in building and managing dashboards suing tools like Tableau, Power Bi, Salesforce, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, KPIs and data visualization best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure dashboards reflect key performance indicators, sales metrics and business goals while optimizing functionality and usability
  • Ability to translate data into intuitive, user-friendly dashboards tailored to various audiences
  • Communication Excellence:
    • Ability to understand and communicate technical requirements and design across, engineering, design and QA
    • Can communicate in a structured and crisp manner both through written and verbal communication
    • Can engage senior leadership to get the point across using a deductive or top town communication approach
    • Is a good listener and changes perspective based on facts
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills that can explain technical concepts for non-technical audiences
    • Effectively able to engage cross-organization leaders in driving change and adoption targets
    • Drive consensus within all stakeholders and business leaders on the new direction
  • Execution mindset and a demonstrated ability to drive results:
    • Is structured, and organized and can create actionable implementation plans and timelines
    • Knows how to deliver on time and manage teams and stakeholders to deliver to the same
    • Can identify potential issues early in driving adoption of change and acts proactively to address them
    • Hands on experience with agile, including being able to coach and mentor team members
    • Constantly evaluate execution effectiveness, changing trends to help re-prioritize as required.
    • Ability to breakdown complex issues into smaller addressable solutions
    • Take a strategic point of view in formulating actions and solutions
    • Has a continuous improvement mindset

    • Understanding of user-centric design in business, marketing, IT or equivalent preferred

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience operating as a product owner implementing 3rd party advisory solutions
  • Worked in a operations strategy role, in a consulting company or an insurance organization with knowledge of latest trends in driving sales, service and operations excellence
  • Hands on experience with agile, including being able to coach and mentor team members
  • Understanding of user-centric design in business, marketing, IT or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results
  • Strong/expert background in analytics with demonstrated ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into meaningful conclusions and actionable strategic plans that support business objectives
  • Clear understanding of digital technology and consumer trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills that can explain technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree (Technology or Business)
  • Experience with designing 'customer centric' processes and journey mapping
  • Designed and implemented change management and adoption framework
  • Experience building internal relationships and working across matrixed organizations
