Commissary Inventory Manager
We are looking for a highly organized individual to manage the commissary inventory at CoreCivic.
This role involves overseeing all aspects of the commissary function, including supervising teams of inmate/resident workers.
Key Functions:
- Manages the receiving, storing, and inventorying of stock, supplies, and equipment used in the commissary and facility operations.
- Under the direction of the supervisor, ensures timely and accurate receipt, routing, and storage of goods and cleaning chemicals received in accordance with sanitation standards and applicable codes.
- Processes commissary sales transactions, verifies inmate/resident order forms, performs data entry, and delivers pulled orders to the appropriate inmate.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date inventory records of all furniture, equipment, and supplies in the facility and warehouse.
- Prepares accurate and timely records and reports as required.
- Communicates effectively with administration, staff, inmates/residents, and visitors.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in warehouse/commissary operation, including physical control and movement of inventory, is preferred.
- The ability to operate hand trucks, forklifts, and/or pallet jacks is necessary.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- The minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
