In this role, you will be responsible for providing non-medical clinical mental health services in a correctional facility setting.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with inmates, staff, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments to identify treatment needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on inmate needs and level of functioning.
- Provide counseling and crisis interventions to address the emotional and behavioral needs of inmates.
- Document all treatment activities and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
- Five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable position.
- Appropriate certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
