Key Responsibilities
• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews with inmates.
• Collaborate with other clinical staff, including psychiatrists, mental health service providers, physicians, nurses, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to inmates.
• Develop and implement individual treatment plans based on the evaluation of inmate needs and level of functioning.
• Provide regular support and guidance to inmates in segregation or other confined housing areas.
• Demonstrate expertise in psychological counseling theory and techniques by using evidence-based treatments and activities for individuals in your caseload.
Requirements
• A Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
• A current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state where practice occurs.
• At least two years of clinical experience, including one year in a comparable position.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
