Job Title: Correctional Officer
We are seeking motivated and work-committed individuals to join our team as Correctional Officers at La Palma Correctional Center/ Red Rock Correctional Center in Eloy, AZ.
About the Role:
As a Correctional Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining order and security of inmates in a correctional facility. You will perform routine duties in accordance with established policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure the safety, security, care, and direct supervision of those in your care.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility
- Perform routine duties of a Correctional Officer in accordance with established policies, regulations, and procedures
- Work any shift, including armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation, etc.
- Qualify for positions requiring criminal justice experience based on military service
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED certification, or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to complete required training
- Availability to work any hours, any shift
- Age 18 or older
- Completion of pre-service correctional officer training and non-commissioned security officer licensure (where applicable)
