CoreCivic is seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team of mental health professionals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing psychological services to inmates in a correctional setting.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations of inmates
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each inmate
Provide counseling and therapy sessions to promote positive behavioral changes and emotional well-being
Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for inmates
Make regular rounds in segregation or other confined housing areas to assess inmate adjustment and mental health treatment needs
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Doctoral degree in Psychology
Must possess a current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state where practice occurs
Must have two years clinical experience, which includes one year in a comparable position
A valid driver's license is required
Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 20 years of age
