Job Summary
The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner will provide advanced nursing services and patient care in the facility's medical program. This role involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Executing physician's orders, dispensing and administering medications, and performing examinations and treatment of patients.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and healthcare needs.
- Formulating prognosis based on patient's condition and discussing case with physician and other health professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring inmate/resident inpatient hospitalizations and ensuring early release whenever possible.
- Verifying the cleanliness of equipment and work area through own efforts and supervision.
- Assisting with monitoring the provision of all required contractual services.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) licensure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to perform all functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with actual job performance requirements.
