About the Position
The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the facility's medical program. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Executing physician's orders, dispensing and administering medications, and performing examinations and treatment of patients.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and healthcare needs.
- Recommending drugs and other forms of treatment within the scope of licensure.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitoring inmate/resident inpatient hospitalizations and ensuring early release whenever possible.
- Verifying the cleanliness of equipment and work area through own efforts and supervision.
- Assisting with monitoring the provision of all required contractual services.
Essential Qualifications
- Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) licensure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to perform all functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with actual job performance requirements.
