As a therapist in our correctional facility, you will have the opportunity to provide non-medical clinical mental health services and make a positive impact on the lives of offenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments to identify treatment needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on inmate needs and level of functioning.
- Provide counseling and therapy services to address emotional and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
- Five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable position.
- Appropriate certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
