Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care in a diverse and dynamic OR setting.
- Assist in surgical procedures under the guidance of surgeons and anesthesiologists.
- Prepare operating rooms, arrange equipment, and help doctors during surgeries.
- Monitor and ensure accurate documentation of patient vital signs and surgical progress.
- Implement and follow perioperative nursing care standards and protocols to ensure patient safety.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an OR or surgical environment.
- Active RN license in the state of Texas or a compact state.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of surgical operation procedures and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
